Oh God! Isn't air polluted enough to kill 7 million humans
and animals every year? That now people smoke to make others around them sicker.
As my daily commute to my foundation institute is through a green park filled
with children running around, people jogging and elderly performing yoga or
sitting around chatting. It bothers me that don’t these people fear the smoke
around them that all the smokers create ? recently there was a drug stall
opened which sells cigarettes, I see people from teens to 80s sitting and
standing around smoking. I mean if you people want to smoke then go to some place
which is designed for people to smoke like smoking rooms or you can even sit
insides your houses and smoke.
Why do you people want to harm the people who don’t smoke
just like a daily commuter of that street like me? It’s my daily job to avoid
bumping into people who smoke. All this mess is created by the people who open their shops to sell drugs like cigarettes,
I know they have a right to livelihood too just like I do but the Indian constitution
states that we can practice our rights till we don’t restrict anyone else’s
rights. If we go by this they have their right to sell cigarettes but not in public
places where children play and other people sit as it restricts their
fundamental rights.
